Yeah, i’m 16 and i started 8 months ago… My teacher says that i can become a great violinist because of my natural feel to the violin, and i can learn quick… Tho, i allready had people saying that it was too difficult and that i was too old, etc… Well… it’s not that hard… Actually, it’s easy, it’s just muscle memory, at least the way i see it, you just got to repeat, repeat, repeat, and make it perfect. Practice makes perfect! If you want to learn, don’t think about it, just do it!

I know where that is, I’ve been there many times. I’m from the Metro Detroit Area in Harrison Twp. Your website has been so helpful to me, thanks so much for posting these videos here and also for the violintutorpro website, it’s made learning the violin a lot of fun for me! Your bow in the mirror tip has been a huge help, and your scale videos made learning the fingerboard and hold to bow the strings much easier than any other resource I’ve tried so far. That is great, I’m happy to hear that…because many people told me I’m too old to learn the violin..though I’m only (almost) 18) I told them that there is absolutely no age to start learning an instrument. Then again, my grandmother is almost 70 and she is learning the guitar. I’m relieved to know that I’m not too old!
