Learn Violin – Basic Notes Introduction

Learning the violin starts with learning the basic notes on the A and E strings. This video shows the introduction to those two violin strings. Once you learn these notes on the violin you can begin playing quite of few different violin pieces of music. Distributed by Tubemogul.

I’ve been wanting to know something for a while now – I know most people use fingering tape until they can find the notes without it, but what if you get dependent on it? Isn’t it better to try and learn without it? You know, refer to a diagram or something instead.

Yes the violin is a fret less instrument so you have to practice enough to know exactly where your fingers go. I’ve been playing long enough to also play by ear yes.

how do you know where to put your finger when playing a violin because there are no frets are you forced to play by ear?
