What is the difference between a student violin and an intermediate or professional violin?
I am also wanting to know general price ranges, and the differences? Thank you.
Student violins tend to be of poorer quality, and don’t have such a good sound. More professional violins are usually made of better wood and other parts (e.g. tuning pegs, tail piece), can be hand-made, and have better strings (however better strings can be placed on violins of poorer quality) (and are usually more expensive).
I hope that this helps!
Good luck!
