A very nice, old Viola. The piece being played is Caprice No. 1 by Campagnoti (41 Caprices, Opus 22 for Viola). The player is a VIOLIN STUDENT, not a Violist, who is teaching himself to play the Viola.

Sound sample of an old Lion Head violin, probably german 1880s-1900. Piece is an excerpt of Karl Bohm’s Sarabande in g minor played by a student violinist.
